The toy version of the poodle is recognized as a separate breed, surprisingly these dogs descend from working stock originally used to guard sheep. One of the more popular show dogs they can have very detailed coat clips or kept neat and trim with a lamb clip.

They make great companion dogs and have wonderful personalities.

How They Measure Up:

The Toy Poodle comes to us from Germany, it's coat can be curly / shaggy in a wide variety of colors. You can count on spending some time on grooming, a daily brushing is best and clipping may be needed every 6 to 8 weeks.

Their height is normally under 11 inches and can weigh up to 15 lbs.
