Dog Group
The Sporting Dog Group is made up of mainly Pointers, Setters and
Spaniels. Naturally alert, they are used to working closely with
people especially hunters. They naturally love the water and are
used to rough and ready conditions.
Regular exercise is a pre-requisite for these active dogs, a favorite
for hunters and outdoorsmen these dogs are known for their well
behaved demeanor and have a remarkable ability for locating game.
They also make excellent pet dogs due to their excellent interaction
with people.

In general the Sporting Dog Group are somewhat larger dogs who
have the ability to locate and retrieve game once it's been killed.
Excellent scenting power and the ability to withstand rough terrain
and harsh weather have helped these breeds endure for centuries.
